Golf
Methven golfers are extremely proud of our own local course, which has been hailed as one of the best low-key rural courses on the island. It is well laid out and well maintained, with interesting challenges and fabulous mountain views. As a bonus, it is hardly ever crowded.
Within 1 hour’s drive a dozen enjoyable courses can be found, with the crown sitting securely upon Terrace Downs – a magnificent resort-style course worth a visit if only for tea in the splendid clubhouse.
